The well-known Strip-Blade Doctoring System was developed by the Swedish engineer and test printer, Mr Åke Bööse in 1976. The patented holder is the heart of the unique AkeBoose Strip-Blade Doctoring System, carrying a very thin and narrow doctor blade that is very easy to change.

The 10 mm wide doctor blade, made from extremely pure Swedish strip steel, ensures a consistent control of ink film thickness and tonal values in print.

The unique sensitivity and straightness of the system reduces the doctor blade pressure, resulting in fewer blade changes, less downtime and substantially prologed cylinder life.

The Strip-Blade Doctoring System includes several models in different dimensions, each designed for a specific application.
